Pure Luck & A Hopeful Future
Well sometimes good comes out of bad and in Sky's case it certainly did. Whilst in the throws of recovering Sky from the sad life with Tish, I met an absolutely wonderful young lady who is not only what & who she says she is but also loves Sky to bits.
To-date she has taken him Cubbing (mock Hunting), which he thoroughly enjoyed and she said 'he did her proud'. She then took him X-Country for the first time and he coped with that excellently - once he took the water jump (must have brought back memories of beach riding with me haha) he seemed to understand what was expected of him.
Today he went to his first Show-Jumping competition at Medstead Grange. After a bad round where he was eliminated for 2 refusals, he went on to the next round where he jumped 10 successive fences with only 1 refusal. For his first attempt, I was extremely proud of him and his new-found rider........ well done both of you!
Here's a couple of pics to prove it
